Connect Mobile Device to Radio Setup Guide 

Prerequisites:

  • FreedomFi gateway is set up and working
  • Small Cell is set up and working
  • Activated FreedomFi SIM card
  • Unlocked CBRS compatible Cell phone (see confirmed devices)
There are many other CBRS compatible devices that should work but have not been verified. You can find a list of them here. When reaching out to support for help, please keep in mind we can only help resolve issues with the confirmed devices above.

Limitations:

  • These are Beta SIM cards for testing small cells and local data use. It will only connect to FreedomFi connected small cells and doesn’t provide nationwide coverage.
  • Traffic originating from Beta SIMs is unlimited and free, but will not mine HNT or use data credits.
  • These SIMs are data only and will not provide cellular voice or SMS functionality.
